I am 11 years old. I came to FIDESCO at the end of November 2011.
People came and took me off the street. They saved me from the demons there. Now, I have stopped taking drugs too. If I had $30 USD, I would buy a bicycle so I could travel and live better.
When I grow up, I want to be president.

My name is Haniah (You pronounce it Haneeah). I am 11 years old. My birthday is May 12, 2000. I live in Philadelphia. I go to Universal Institute Charter. I am in the 6th grade. I don’t know a lot about Rwanda. But I do know about Africa and Joseph Kony. In this letter I am going to tell you about MY LIFE.
My teacher’s name is Ms. Jean-Louis, and she is Haitian. When I grow up I want to be a veterinarian. A vet is an animal doctor. I love animals! I have 3 brothers and 1 sister. I go to a program called Mighty Writers. It’s very COOL.
I heard that you like to dance. Well how does dance make you feel? I have a lot of best friends. But my top friends are Kia’jah, Myanni, and Arick. Do you have any really close friends? I would really like to know about you and your life, from you. Not from a computer. All I know is that you had a really hard life. Have you ever thought about a counselor?
Why did the demons make you take drugs? Was it hard for you? I'm sorry you had to go through that.

I like Zidane,the former French soeccr hero in last World Cup.I enjoy watching football games very much.I first watched the World Cup some 30 years ago,the Italian summer gave me very deep impression,especially the former star from Agentina,Maradonna,who’s talented at playing soeccr skillfully and artfully.In my young ages, I practiced playing football with my pals every afternoon.
